Trying something different

Done in about 15 mins with compressed charcoal. I’ve not been happy with any of the drawing I’ve done for the last few weeks, but the last drawing of the year and I’m pretty chuffed with this one. I’m trying to move away from pencil and cross hatching. It’s by no means a bang on accurate drawing but it’s a nice way to work and is something I’ll try to develop when the classses start back up on January.
